Biography.

Alexa Richardson received her bachelor's degree from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, with a degree in Music with her primary study in Voice and secondary in Piano. She studied under Tracy Grady throughout their degree.

Her degree recital covered a wide range of diverse repertoire, covering 4 different languages. She was a member and soloist of both the BW Treble Choir and BW Singers. Alexa also interned under Lisa Mirigliotta of the Baldwin Wallace Women’s Chorus. Alexa was the Assistant teacher for BW Community Arts school’s “Music Play” (infants to 5 years of age) from 2021 to 2023.

She is a paid chorister and soloist with Christ United Church Chorus after being the interim choir director for 4 months in 2023. Alexa teaches ages 7 through adults in a wide variety of styles, including classical, pop, jazz, and musical theater. Alexa believes in both a practical and holistic approach, focusing on vocal function and exploring all parts of the voice, not just areas of excellence. She has been teaching professionally for almost 3 years working with 50+ students per week, with 4 years of prior experience.
